Our original guide text, research, page layout, route organization, illustrations we create, and other original Site content are protected by applicable copyright law. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

Dates, game facts, short functional labels, and ideas themselves may not be protected in the same way as original expression. What may not be copied is our particular writing, selection, arrangement, research presentation, and other original creative work.

Third-Party Game Property

Escape the Backrooms, its title, game footage, screenshots, logos, characters, artwork, and related marks are owned by their respective rights holders. This is an independent fan resource; no ownership of third-party game property is claimed.

We use limited game-related references to identify, discuss, review, and explain gameplay. Any such use is intended to be consistent with applicable law and does not create a partnership, sponsorship, or authorization from a rights holder.

Permitted Personal Use

You may link to our pages and use brief quotations with clear attribution and a link back to the relevant page, where permitted by law. This permission does not include copying a guide in full, removing attribution, or presenting our work as your own.

Permission is revocable if a use harms visitors, misrepresents a guide, breaches these terms, or exceeds a lawful quotation. If you wish to reproduce material beyond a brief excerpt, contact us first with the intended use, territory, format, and audience.

Restricted Uses

Our Takedown Practice

We take good-faith copyright concerns seriously. On receiving a complete notice, we will review the identified material and may temporarily restrict it while we investigate. We may ask for further details if the notice does not identify the work or the relevant URL clearly enough.

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a good-faith notice by email that includes:
