Animation appearance and behavior
Appearance: A small childlike wooden puppet with glowing red eyes. It can look harmless at a distance among the bright Level 94 houses, which makes the curfew change easy to underestimate.
Behaviour: Animations appear after night falls in Level 94 and quickly overwhelm players caught outside. They can force their way through a house door, while beds and closets are the real hiding tools once the group is indoors.
Threat scale: 4/5 — the score groups directory entries; the written threat label above remains the player-facing assessment.
Observed in: 1 documented route.
How Animations change Level 94

Bright hills become a shelter route after the warning
The houses are not background decoration. During the day they are the checkpoints that make the next curfew survivable.
The safest habit is to choose your next shelter before leaving the current one. Then the warning changes the plan from “explore” to “go now,” with no debate in the open.
The Level 94 Motion walkthrough covers the hill route, house timing, and the castle approach after the night phase.

A bed or closet finishes the reset
When a door gives way, the players who only reached the house are still exposed. The players already under a bed or inside a closet have completed the response.
That small distinction is why quick room checks during daylight save more runs than trying to react faster at night.
What to do at curfew
Use daytime to select a nearby house and hiding place; at curfew, get inside, hide under a bed or in a closet, and wait rather than attempting an outdoor recovery.
Recognition signal
The day phase ending and the night warning are the signal to abandon loose searching. If you are still choosing between houses then, you are already late.
Best immediate response
Run to the closest prepared house, turn off the light, and take the bed or closet. Do not pause outside to check whether the dolls have spawned yet.
Reset the encounter
Stay hidden until the night pressure has passed, then leave the house with a new daytime destination rather than drifting across the hills without a next shelter.
Animation tips for co-op
Pick the house before the warning. In co-op, one player confirms the bed or closet while the others enter; a late player should take the closest usable hide instead of crossing the hills to rejoin the group.
What ends runs: Mistaking the front door for a hiding place. Animations can enter a house, which is why the interior hide matters more than the building itself.
Animation pressure points on the hills
These are route-level encounter notes, not a promise that an entity will always stand in one fixed spot.
Rolling hills and houses around the route to the castle
Outdoor movement stops being viable, so the closest house with a usable bed or closet becomes the immediate objective.
How to survive the night
Do not attempt to outrun a group of Animations over the hills. Enter a house before night, use a bed or closet rather than relying on the door, and do not leave the hiding space because one Animation has moved past the room.
Animation route notes for solo and co-op
Use these as a short reset checklist. They describe what we change before, during, and after the encounter—not a script to follow blindly.
Daytime movement
Solo: Move between houses with the next one already chosen. Briefly check for a bed or closet before you commit to a longer run toward the castle.
Co-op: Keep the group close enough to enter the same house, but do not wait in the open for a teammate who has chosen a different slope.
Curfew
Solo: Enter immediately, turn off the light, and hide. If an Animation breaks in, remain still instead of leaving the room because the door is no longer intact.
Co-op: The first player calls the usable hide. Others take the second safe position rather than blocking the bed or closet entrance.
Leaving after night
Solo: Check the exit and choose the next house before returning to the hills. The route gains nothing from wandering without a shelter plan.
Co-op: Confirm everyone is out of the hide before moving. Use the next house as the regroup target, not a vague direction toward the castle.
Curfew, houses, and hiding spaces
The day/night transition is the encounter trigger. Use daytime to choose the next house and inspect its hiding space. When the warning begins, stop searching for a better route: get inside, turn off the light, hide, and wait until the pressure has passed.
The house is not the hide
A closed front door only buys a moment. A bed or closet gives the group the place to stay when an Animation enters the building.
Plan shelter during daylight
Checking a room before curfew converts a frantic search into one direct move when the warning begins.
Do not wait for visual proof outside
By the time a group of Animations is clearly visible, the hills are no longer a recovery space. Move on the warning, not on confirmation.

Animation questions
Quick answers for the point where a broad rule needs a concrete next action.
Can Animations enter houses?+
Yes. Use a bed or closet after entering; do not depend on the front door to keep the night outside.
Can I outrun them on the hills?+
Do not plan on it. Curfew is the signal to reach the nearest prepared hide, not to attempt a longer outdoor route.
What should co-op players call?+
Name the house, then name the hiding spot inside it. That is more useful than shouting the direction of an Animation.
